Application Packager required for a 6-month contract – Immediate start. The Application Packager will be joining a small team and will lead the transition of Applications to a new company from a business separation.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end application packaging, from initial requirements gathering through to UAT and deployment
- Review of current Application estate, prioritising key applications
- Create, test, and troubleshoot application packages (MSI, App-V, IntuneWin, etc.)
- Ensure compatibility with Windows operating environments (Windows 10/11)
- Work closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Infrastructure teams, and end-users
- Maintain detailed documentation throughout the packaging lifecycle
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in the entire application packaging lifecycle
- Strong knowledge of packaging tools (e.g., AdminStudio, SCCM, Intune)
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell, VBScript)
- Familiarity with enterprise deployment environments and change control processes
- Any experience with Merger, Acquisitions, or New Business set-up an advantage
- Experience with Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD), Azure, or Citrix environments advantageous
- Security Cleared, NPPV, BPSS Cleared, DBS Checks an advantage
This Application Packager will be mainly remote, with on-site commitments when the project dictates – expectations are approx. 1-3 days per month. This Application Packager role is an immediate requirement, with interview slots available W/C 21st April.
Please note the Application Packager will need to go through BPSS check – DBS, Referencing, Right to Work, Proof of qualifications – prior to starting.
