My Customer is looking for an experienced Cloud Network Consultant to support a large-scale Disaster Recovery (DR) transformation programme. This role will play a critical part in designing, implementing, and validating network connectivity for DR routed through Azure, ensuring seamless integration between Azure and on-premise Data Centres.
You will work closely with infrastructure, security, and cloud teams to enhance network resilience, increase connectivity, and ensure DR services are fully operational and recoverable through Azure.
Key Skills & Experience:- Strong Network Engineering / Consulting background
- Proven Azure Networking experience (VNETs, VPN, ExpressRoute, routing, NSGs, load balancing)
- Experience designing networks for Disaster Recovery solutions
- Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Cisco networking technologies
- Solid understanding of hybrid networking (Azure ↔ Data Centre integration)
- Experience with traffic routing, load balancing, and network resilience
- Ability to operate in a consultative, project-based environment
- Design and implement Azure-based network connectivity to support Disaster Recovery solutions
- Ensure DR traffic is routed through Azure and integrated with on-premise Data Centre environments
- Increase and optimise network connectivity, routing, and resilience in preparation for DR scenarios
- Configure and manage routing, load balancing, and traffic flows across hybrid environments
- Work with security and network teams to integrate Palo Alto and Cisco technologies
- Validate DR connectivity through testing, failover, and recovery scenarios
- Provide consultancy-level guidance, documentation, and best practice recommendations
