VIQU has partnered with a growing technology business seeking an experienced Infrastructure Manager to support a large-scale IT transformation across a group of businesses. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Infrastructure Manager to play a key role in modernising infrastructure environments, supporting cloud migration projects, and helping standardise IT operations across multiple sites. The successful Infrastructure Manager will work closely with technical leadership and external MSPs while remaining heavily involved in day-to-day technical delivery.
Key Responsibilities of the Infrastructure Manager:
- Support and maintain a mixed on-premise infrastructure environment, including Windows Server and Hyper-V technologies.
- Assist with the migration from on-premise infrastructure into Azure cloud environments.
- Support the consolidation of multiple Microsoft 365 tenants into a single tenant environment.
- Work closely with the MSP to deliver infrastructure and cloud transformation projects.
- Help implement and support Azure AD, Purview, Data Loss Prevention, and Microsoft security technologies.
- Support the standardisation of networking environments including switching, routing, and firewall technologies.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to a junior team member.
- Act as a key technical point of contact across infrastructure and cloud projects.
- Manage relationships with third-party MSP providers and ensure successful service delivery.
Key Requirements of the Infrastructure Manager:
- Strong experience supporting on-premise infrastructure environments.
- Previous experience with Windows Server, Hyper-V, and Microsoft technologies.
- Exposure to Azure cloud technologies and migration projects.
- Experience working with Microsoft 365 Security, Azure AD, or Purview technologies would be highly desirable.
- Broad networking knowledge across switching, routing, and firewall technologies.
- Comfortable working within a hands-on technical role alongside project delivery responsibilities.
- Previous mentoring or leadership experience would be beneficial.
- Eligible to undergo SC clearance.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
