VIQU are partnering with a leading professional services organisation seeking an experienced Analyst Programmer 3E to join their Digital Practice Solutions team. The role will focus on developing, supporting, and improving Elite 3E and other business-critical financial systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a Finance Systems Developer, Technical Lead, or similar software developer to build their expertise across financial systems.
Key Responsibilities of the Analyst Programmer 3E:
- Act as the technical lead and key contact for Elite 3E
- Develop and support Elite 3E, integrations, and in-house applications
- Own development workstreams from design through to release and support
- Work with consultants, developers, BAs, and architects on new solutions
- Produce technical and functional documentation
- Complete unit, integration, and user acceptance testing
- Provide 3rd line support and resolve escalated incidents
- Support system upgrades and implementations
- Provide on-call support when required
Key Experience Required of the Analyst Programmer 3E:
- Commercial software development experience within business-critical systems
- Strong knowledge of web-based architecture and design
- Strong Microsoft SQL Server and SQL scripting experience
- Experience with .NET, particularly VB.NET
- Experience with XML, XSLT, and XPath
- Strong database design, analysis, and development experience
- Experience with Elite 3E or similar financial systems
- Finance or legal sector experience is highly desirable
- Experience with SSRS or similar reporting platforms
- Understanding of multi-tier architecture and design patterns
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive approach with strong attention to detail
