Azure Cloud Engineer 6 Month Contract Hybrid / Leicester Outside IR35

VIQU have partnered with a leading organisation who are seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer to support during a key digital transformation programme.

The Role

The successful Azure Cloud Engineer will support a large-scale cloud transformation programme, working with cross-functional teams to drive the build, deployment, and optimisation of Azure-based infrastructure.

Key Technical Skills & Experience :

• Strong experience working within Azure DevOps (ADO)
• Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) Terraform
• Automation and scripting skills PowerShell
• Proven background in Azure cloud infrastructure design and build
• Experience designing and implementing new environments from scratch (not just maintaining existing systems)
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and release management
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills ability to collaborate across distributed teams
• Exposure to GitHub and GitHub Actions would be advantageous
• Kubernetes / AKS exposure desirable but not essential

Role details:

• Job role: Azure Cloud Engineer
• Job type: Contract
• Duration: 6 months initial contract
• Rate: £400 – £435 per day
• IR35 status: Outside IR35 pending SDS Report
• Location: Hybrid 3 days per week onsite in Leicester
