Control Systems Engineer (SC Cleared) – Contract – Cumbria

Our client is recruiting for an SC Cleared Control Systems Engineer on a contract basis to support within the nuclear sector.

The role:

The successful Control Systems Engineer will design, develop, and implement PLC and SCADA systems, working on a number of upcoming projects such as system upgrades, system modifications, and new builds.

Key skills and experience for the Control Systems Engineer:

Extensive experience in Commercially-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) PLC & SCADA software, such as Siemens, Rockwell Automation, Schneider Electric, Wonderware, Codra.
Function Design, System Design, and Test Specifications
Experience in Commissioning, as well as with internal and factory acceptance testing
Writing code to IEC 61131
Leadership of a small project / small team on a project
Basic knowledge of Cyber Security standards (62443) would be beneficial.
Full UK driving license and willingness to travel and work away from home when required
Must have active SC Clearance.
