Control Systems Engineer (SC Cleared) Contract Cumbria
Our client is recruiting for an SC Cleared Control Systems Engineer on a contract basis to support within the nuclear sector.
The role:
The successful Control Systems Engineer will design, develop, and implement PLC and SCADA systems, working on a number of upcoming projects such as system upgrades, system modifications, and new builds.
Key skills and experience for the Control Systems Engineer:
- Extensive experience in Commercially-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) PLC & SCADA software, such as Siemens, Rockwell Automation, Schneider Electric, Wonderware, Codra.
- Function Design, System Design, and Test Specifications
- Experience in Commissioning, as well as with internal and factory acceptance testing
- Writing code to IEC 61131
- Leadership of a small project / small team on a project
- Basic knowledge of Cyber Security standards (62443) would be beneficial.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel and work away from home when required
- Must have active SC Clearance.
