VIQU has partnered with a global professional services organisation who are hiring a Weekend Network Engineer to join their enterprise IT Platforms team on a 12 month FTC. This role focuses on 3rd line support, owning critical network infrastructure across WAN and LAN environments, and ensuring stability during weekend operations. You'll operate in a high availability, security focused environment, supporting both BAU and project delivery across a global estate. Key Responsibilities of the Weekend Network Engineer:
- Provide 3rd line support, troubleshooting and resolving network incidents via ticketing systems
- Own and maintain global WAN and LAN infrastructure during weekend coverage
- Ensure network availability, performance, and reliability across the estate
- Support and implement new network technologies and project initiatives
- Work closely with 3rd party vendors for root cause analysis and resolution
