Requirements
- Experience in Temenos T24 / Transact, with exposure to recent releases, preferably R21 and highly desirable R24.
- Proven experience in TAFC to TAFJ migration programmes, including impact assessment, gap analysis, and code conversion or remediation.
- Strong experience in T24 database migration, particularly jBASE to Oracle conversion or migration approaches, and data validation and reconciliation across environments.
- Hands‑on experience with TAFJ architecture and the Java‑based runtime stack.
- Strong technical understanding of COB processing, local developments, and existing T24 data structures and file architecture.
- Experience troubleshooting across infrastructure and middleware layers such as JBoss or application servers, IBM MQ or integration layers, and TAFJ runtime and Java components.
- Ability to analyse and support environment setup, deployments, configuration, and performance and stability issues across TAFC and TAFJ environments.
- Experience supporting upgrade activity, such as R21 to R26 or similar, including code retrofits, configuration alignment, and regression testing.
- Strong technical skills in TAFC and TAFJ frameworks, with a strong emphasis on TAFJ.
- Experience with Oracle database.
- Strong knowledge of T24 architecture and upgrade lifecycle.
- Experience with COB processing and batch job troubleshooting.
- Experience with local development, including version routines, enquiries, and templates.
- Experience with integration across MQ, file‑based, and API interfaces.
- Experience with deployment and runtime support across JBoss and Java stack.
- Exposure to large‑scale T24 upgrade or migration programmes is desirable.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum delivery models is desirable.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices and DevOps tooling is desirable.
- Familiarity with enterprise hosting environments and high availability and resilience patterns is desirable.
- Basic exposure to payment flows or SWIFT is desirable.
- SC Clearance would be highly advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support TAFC to TAFJ migration activities, including impact assessments, gap analysis, code remediation or conversion, and TAFJ validation.
- Support Oracle migration activities, including L3 performance tuning, data validation and reconciliation, and environment configuration alignment.
- Perform environment build, configuration, and deployment support.
- Analyse and resolve technical issues across DEV, UAT, and PROD environments.
- Support SIT and UAT execution and defect resolution.
- Support system integration with upstream and downstream systems.
- Contribute to interface mapping discussions.
- Contribute to technical design for customisation and L3 developments.
- Maintain clear documentation in Confluence and SharePoint.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, sprint delivery, and backlog refinement.
