Systems Administrator 6-Month Contract - Outside IR35 - Based in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

VIQU are looking for a Systems Administrator to support a large global organisation and maintain their range of IT infrastructure and systems across the business.

You will be working in their Infrastructure team supporting them with 3rd line queries – covering both BAU activities and supporting in Projects Systems Administrator Experience/Skillset requirements: Microsoft 365 / Office 365 / Intune / Exchange Online Windows Server Active Directory Hyper-V or VMware – ideally HCI (Hyper-Converged Infrastrucutre) Entra ID or Okta Fortinet / Fortigate Firewalls Wireless Technologies Basic Networking – Router / Switches Any Storage, Disaster Recovery and Backup experience would be beneficial

Responsibilities: Provide 3rd Line technical and infrastructure support , resolving complex escalated incidents across infrastructure, networking and end-user computing environments.

Maintain and support Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Intune, Okta and Identity & Access Management (IAM) environments.

Support networking infrastructure , including Fortinet and Cisco Meraki technologies, as well as general infrastructure troubleshooting.

Provide technical support for infrastructure and migration projects , including server, platform and legacy on-premises file server migrations.

Work closely with internal IT teams in an ITIL-based environment , contributing to projects, documenting solutions and implementing technical changes.

The System Administrator must be able to commit to being onsite in Newcastle Upon Tyne 3 days per week.
