Observability Engineer AIOps & Observability | Permanent | Remote-first (UK) | Confidential Client Placed exclusively by Morela - Specialist AI & Engineering Recruitment THE OPPORTUNITY Morela is working exclusively with one of the fastest-growing startups in the UK - a specialist AIOps boutique that is changing how enterprise organisations deal with alert noise and incident response. They are scaling their delivery team and looking for an Observability Engineer who wants to do some of the most interesting work in the space right now. This is a hands-on, client-facing role. You will be embedded in complex enterprise environments, owning implementations end-to-end with BigPanda at the centre of the stack. If you are the kind of engineer who wants real ownership and hates sitting in a queue waiting for tickets - this is the role. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Owning end-to-end observability implementations with BigPanda as the primary AIOps platform Integrating BigPanda with Datadog, Dynatrace, Splunk, PagerDuty, ServiceNow, and custom data sources Configuring alert enrichment, correlation policies, maintenance windows, and automated incident workflows Leading technical discovery and workshops directly with enterprise client stakeholders Building alerting frameworks and dashboards that cut noise and surface what actually matters Embedding observability best practices within client engineering teams Contributing to internal tooling and accelerators that sharpen delivery across the business WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Hands-on BigPanda experience - event correlation, enrichment, and integration configuration Strong observability background across Datadog, Dynatrace, New Relic, Splunk, or equivalent A track record of delivering in client-facing or consultancy-style environments Scripting and automation skills - Python, Bash, or similar Solid grasp of ITSM integrations - ServiceNow and PagerDuty in particular Cloud experience across AWS, Azure, or GCP Clear communicator who takes ownership and drives things to completion NICE TO HAVE BigPanda certification or formal training APM and distributed tracing experience - OpenTelemetry, Jaeger, Zipkin Kubernetes at scale Familiarity with AI/ML concepts applied to AIOps - anomaly detection, predictive alerting, topology mapping WHAT'S ON OFFER Complex, high-impact work across serious enterprise clients from day one A close-knit team of AIOps specialists who genuinely know their stuff Real autonomy - no bureaucracy, no micro-management Competitive salary and package commensurate with experience Remote-first with on-site flexibility when clients need it A business going places - get in while it is still early This opportunity is managed exclusively by Morela.
