VIQU has partnered with a leading public sector organisation based in Newport to recruit a skilled Senior Test Analyst on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative digital team working on critical systems that support public services. The position will focus on performing both manual and automated tests, lead and supervise a team of test analysts and to manage the overall test process.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Test Analyst:- Design and execute test strategies, test plans, and scripts across multiple testing phases including functional, regression, integration, and accessibility.
- Manage and resolve defects, collaborating with developers and stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes.
- Mentor junior Test Analysts, maintaining consistency and quality across all test activities.
- Present testing outcomes clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and defect management processes.
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks, scripting, and API testing tools.
- Previous experience in development of test plans, strategy, scripts and reports.
- Experience with leading and guiding a team of test analysts.
- Specialist knowledge of the software development and software testing life cycles.
- Ability to manage senior stakeholders, and translate technical requirements to non-technical audiences.
