£VIQU have partnered with an independent engineering SME delivering high-voltage electrical solutions that support the UK's sustainable energy future. Following successful NERS accreditation, the business is expanding its in-house HV electrical capability and is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to act as its senior design authority.
The Senior Electrical Engineer will provide technical leadership, governance and assurance across HV electrical design activities, ensuring outputs are safe, compliant, buildable and delivered in a controlled, auditable way.
- Oversee design checking, approval, compliance, risk management and the continued development of an in-house HV electrical design function.
- Act as the senior technical authority for HV electrical design.
- Work closely with Tier 1 contractors, DNOs, clients and internal project teams.
- Mentor and develop future electrical design capability.
Strong HV electrical design experience, ideally across substations or energy infrastructure.
Experience working with DNOs, Tier 1 contractors or engineering consultancies.
Strong understanding of design assurance, compliance, risk and governance.
