VIQU is seeking an experienced Senior Hybrid Platform Engineer / Technical Lead to join a major enterprise customer based in Warwickshire.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the evolution of a complex hybrid platform environment, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure (approximately 75%) supported by on-premises infrastructure (approximately 25%).
We're looking for a technically hands-on engineer who can drive platform transformation, lead infrastructure change, and support business-critical production environments. The Role
As the technical lead for platform engineering initiatives, you will own technical design decisions from concept through to implementation.
You'll play a key role in modernising enterprise infrastructure, supporting Azure platform transformation, and ensuring services remain secure, resilient and highly available.
Lead technical design and delivery of hybrid platform and infrastructure changes.
Manage and support enterprise Azure services across compute, networking, storage, identity and security.
Maintain hybrid connectivity between Azure and on-premises infrastructure.
Support and administer Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
Lead incident resolution, troubleshooting and root cause analysis across hybrid platforms.
Strong commercial experience supporting enterprise Microsoft Azure environments.
Hands-on experience with Azure Networking, Compute, Storage, Entra ID (Azure AD), Security and Governance.
Strong Windows Server infrastructure knowledge including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments and integrating Azure with on-prem infrastructure.
Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
AWS exposure.
Monitoring and observability tooling.
ITIL knowledge.
Microsoft Azure or VMware certifications.
