Renowned for delivering high-quality specialist vehicles, they are looking for a Quality Control Technician to support quality investigations, drive continuous improvement, and help maintain the highest manufacturing standards.

As a Quality Control Technician, you'll investigate quality concerns across manufacturing operations, identify root causes, and work closely with cross-functional teams to implement effective corrective actions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong quality or manufacturing background who enjoys problem-solving and making a measurable impact.

What you'll be doing:

  • Investigate quality issues and carry out structured root cause analysis.
  • Analyse findings and present clear reports to internal stakeholders.
  • Support and deliver corrective and preventive actions across multiple departments.
  • Use metrology equipment including CMMs and laser scanners to support investigations.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to identify quality issues.
  • Produce high-quality investigation reports and presentations.
  • Manage investigations to agreed timescales while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Experience investigating quality issues and implementing corrective actions.
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
  • Confident using measurement equipment and quality tools.
  • Experience with CMMs, laser scanners, and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of 3D CAD, PolyWorks, GD&T, or LEAN principles would be advantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Level 3 qualification (or above) in a relevant engineering or quality discipline.
