VIQU have partnered with a leading enterprise organisation undergoing a complex Oracle Fusion Finance Transformation. As part of this journey, they are seeking an experienced Oracle Financials Functional Lead (GL / Margin Reporting) to support the design and delivery of core financial reporting, ensuring the new Oracle Fusion ERP system enables accurate margin reporting and P&L analysis by business division.
The Role:
The successful Oracle Financials Functional Lead (GL / Margin Reporting / Fusion) will play a pivotal part in shaping reporting processes, supporting design workshops, and ensuring controls, training and adoption are delivered to enable business success. This is not a generic finance BA role. It requires someone with hands-on Oracle Fusion Finance implementation experience, particularly across General Ledger, reporting and Chart of Accounts design, with strong finance domain knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and documentation of margin reporting and divisional P&L processes within Oracle Fusion ERP as the Oracle Financials Functional Lead (GL / Margin Reporting).
- Support design workshops and collaborate with the GL Lead to align Chart of Accounts, reporting structures and enterprise setup.
- Contribute to testing, cutover planning and warranty support, ensuring reporting solutions are robust and accurate.
- Provide input into training and change management, ensuring end users understand and adopt new reporting processes.
- Work with finance, reporting, and data migration teams to ensure reconciliations and dependencies are properly managed.
- Identify risks and gaps, ensuring appropriate financial controls and mitigations are in place.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience delivering within large Oracle Fusion Finance transformation programmes, specifically in GL and reporting streams.
- Strong finance background (qualified accountant or equivalent), with hands-on knowledge of P&L, margin reporting and financial control frameworks.
- Demonstrable experience of Chart of Accounts design, financial reporting structures, and reconciliations.
- Solid experience in testing, cutover, business readiness and post-go-live support within ERP programmes.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to work across Finance, IT, and Reporting teams.
- Gravitas to influence and challenge within design workshops and programme meetings.
Role Details:
- Job Role: Oracle Financials Functional Lead (GL / Margin Reporting)
- Contract: 6 months initially (with strong potential for extension)
- Location: Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite (Midlands)
- Interview Process: 2 stages
- Outside IR35 pending SDS report
