Desktop Support Engineer – Stevenage VIQU have been approached by a customer who are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to provide additional BAU support to their onsite IT team. The successful Desktop Support Engineer will have solid previous experience in IT Support within a Microsoft environment and will be committed to delivering excellent customer service across both face-to-face and remote interactions. The role: This role will involve providing hands-on Desktop Support to end users, including handling incoming support calls, assisting users via walk-up support and managing tickets through the internal ticketing system. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving a range of hardware, software and access issues, whilst escalating more complex incidents where required. Key skills & responsibilities for the Desktop Support Engineer: Desktop / 1st Line / Service Desk Support – in a Windows / Microsoft environment Handling incoming IT support calls and resolving user issues Providing face-to-face walk-up IT support Managing, triaging and updating support tickets SharePoint Windows 10 Office 365 / Microsoft 365 Active Directory Azure Supporting AV – meeting room set-ups and technical issues Troubleshooting hardware and software break/fix issues Escalating incidents to relevant teams where necessary Excellent customer service and communication skills Role details: Job role: Desktop Support Engineer Job type: Contract Location: Stevenage – 5 days per week onsite Apply now to speak with VIQU IT in confidence.
