Systems Engineer

6-Month Contract - Outside IR35 - Based in Sunderland
/n
VIQU are looking for a Systems Engineer to support a large global organisation and maintain their range of IT infrastructure and systems across the business.
/n
You will be working in their Infrastructure team supporting them with 3rd line queries β covering both BAU activities and supporting in Projects
/n
Systems Administrator Experience/Skillset requirements:
/n
/n
- Microsoft 365 / Office 365 / Intune / Exchange Online
/n
- Windows Server
/n
- Active Directory
/n
- Hyper-V or VMware β ideally HCI (Hyper-Converged Infrastrucutre)
/n
- Entra ID or Okta
/n
- Basic Networking knowledge
/n
- Any Storage, Disaster Recovery and Backup experience would be beneficial
/n
/n
Systems Administrator Responsibilities:
/n
/n
- Provide 3rd Line technical and infrastructure support, resolving complex escalated incidents across infrastructure, networking and end-user computing environments.
/n
- Maintain and support Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Intune, Okta and Identity & Access Management (IAM) environments.
/n
- Provide technical support for infrastructure and migration projects, including server, platform and legacy on-premises file server migrations.
/n
- Work closely with internal IT teams in an ITIL-based environment, contributing to projects, documenting solutions and implementing technical changes.
/n
/n
The System Engineer must be able to commit to being onsite in Sunderland 2 days per week.
/n
/n
