Senior Information Security Analyst - AI, Innovation & Projects Southampton (Hybrid β 3 days in the office) VIQU has partnered with a leading offshore law firm on a Senior Information Security Analyst β AI, Innovation & Projects opportunity.
This is a key security advisory role focused on helping the organisation adopt AI and other transformational technologies securely, with security, privacy and governance embedded from the outset.
This Senior Information Security Analyst role offers the opportunity to play a key part in shaping the secure adoption of AI and emerging technologies within a leading offshore law firm.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior

Analyst: Advise projects and innovation initiatives on information security risks and controls.
Assess proposed technical solutions and recommend security improvements.
Support the secure adoption of AI and transformational technologies.
Conduct AI risk assessments and recommend appropriate mitigations.
Coordinate DPIAs, TRAs and privacy reviews.
Track developments in AI governance, regulation and industry best practice.
Support AI policies and user guidance across the Group.
Contribute to ISO 27001 and future ISO 42001 management systems.
Support security policies, supplier and client assurance activities.
Contribute to information governance, data classification and retention initiatives.
Produce KRIs and management reporting.
Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and third-party suppliers.
- Key Requirements of the Senior

Analyst: Previous information security experience.
Experience advising on technology solutions that support business innovation.
Strong understanding of security, privacy and governance risks.
Experience solving business problems through practical security advice.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Information Security and/or Data Protection certification.
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
A proactive, professional and collaborative approach.
Degree-level education is advantageous.
