Poole

Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum

VIQU have partnered with a leading education focused managed service provider in Poole who are actively recruiting for a junior IT engineer to join their team. The role will involve providing on site support to multiple schools across Pool, conducting technical IT projects, and training school staff on systems as/when required. This is a great opportunity for someone with some exposure to IT support, looking to progress their career further.

Applicants must have their own car and driving license.

Duties of the Junior IT Engineer

  • Provide first line IT support to multiple schools, covering software, network, infrastructure and hardware issues. Escalating to second and third line teams when required.
  • Creation/management of accounts, ensuring leavers are removed from the system.
  • Conducting training sessions and IT inductions for new staff.
  • Configure and update software, installing and deploying applications.

Experience required for the Junior IT Engineer:

  • Previously helped to support IT systems, at a first line level.
  • Exposure to installing and deploying IT applications.
  • Ability to create and manage user accounts.
  • MUST have your own car and driving license.
