The role:
VIQU are seeking ambitious IT Sales Consultants across multiple experience levels, from junior through to senior and principal consultants. This is a sales-led, high-performance environment where you will be responsible for either driving business development activity or operating in a full 360 capacity depending on your preference. We are open to candidates who want to focus purely on strong business development (BD) as well as those who want to operate in a strong 360 role managing the full client and sales lifecycle. The role is heavily focused on business development, relationship building and revenue generation within the IT markets.
Key Responsibilities of the IT Sales Consultant:
- Drive new business development across the IT and tech markets, including outbound sales activity, client meetings and networking
- Manage either a pure business development function or the full 360 sales lifecycle depending on role preference
- Build and grow a portfolio of clients across both contract and permanent recruitment, negotiating fees and commercial terms with senior stakeholders
- Deliver against billing and revenue targets in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment while maintaining strong long-term client relationships
- Collaborate with senior consultants and leadership teams to develop market knowledge and maximise commercial opportunities
Key Requirements of the IT Sales Consultant:
- Experience in B2B sales, recruitment, business development or other target-driven environments with exposure to KPIs and/or commission structures
- Strong communication skills with confidence engaging senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Commercially minded, resilient and motivated by performance and earnings
- Ability to identify opportunities and manage workload in a fast-moving, competitive environment
- Recruitment experience is beneficial but not essential, with full training provided
- Ambition to build a long-term career within a high-growth, performance-led environment
