VIQU are working with a well-established SaaS provider going through an exciting phase of growth. They're hiring an Application Support Team Lead to help lead their 2nd and 3rd line support teams. This is a player manager role where you're expected to still be hands-on with 3rd line supporting using SQL, and debugging C# whilst leading and mentoring 5 support professionals. This role would suit an individual who is very strong technically, with some people leadership experience.
Experience required for the Application Support Team Lead:
- Strong hands-on SQL skills, working as an escalation point for support teams.
- Debugging experience, C# ideally, but transferable OOP experience will be considered.
- 3rd line application support experience.
- Experience with Azure or AWS platform.
- Some technical people leadership experience.
Job duties of the Application Support Team Lead:
- Leading resolution on complex technical tickets across the SaaS platform.
- Writing and troubleshooting complex SQL queries.
- Debugging across a range of programming languages.
- Leading critical incident response and post-incident reviews.
- Managing, coaching and developing 4-5 senior technical staff.
- Providing technical insight into Product and Engineering teams to help steer the roadmap of the product lines.
