We are looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join a busy and fast-paced IT team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in end-user support, device provisioning, onboarding/offboarding processes, and user administration within a Microsoft environment.
We're particularly interested in IT Support Engineers who have hands-on experience managing Joiners, Leavers and Movers (JLM/JML) processes, building and configuring devices, and supporting users throughout their lifecycle. The successful candidate will have a blend of technical support, device management, user administration and customer-facing experience within a modern Microsoft environment.
IT Support Engineer key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to end users across the business.
- Create, modify and remove user accounts and permissions.
- Administer Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID user profiles.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software and application issues.
- Provide deskside and remote support to users.
- Maintain accurate asset and inventory records.
- Support device imaging, deployments and refresh projects when required.
IT Support Engineer essential Skills & Experience:
- Experience in an IT Support, Desktop Support, Service Desk or Technical Support role.
- Strong experience supporting Windows desktop environments.
- Hands-on experience building and configuring end-user devices.
- Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD administration experience.
- User account creation, access management and permissions administration.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications.
The IT Support Engineer is required to work full-time onsite 5 days per week in London.
