VIQU have partnered with a major UK technology-led retailer undergoing significant modernisation across its platforms and cloud estate. Known for its scale, pace and investment in engineering, this organisation empowers teams to innovate, challenge convention, and introduce new tooling and practices.
They are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to drive automation, streamline CI/CD delivery, and support a large transformation from on-premise systems to Azure. You’ll work closely with development teams to enhance environment reliability, optimise release processes, and embed secure, scalable cloud practices across the business.
The Role
You’ll automate the creation and deployment of environments, integrate testing within pipelines, govern codebase consistency, and support performance and diagnostic activities. You’ll also contribute to cloud setup, application monitoring, audit/security collaboration, and drive process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Automate Dev/Test/Pre-Prod/Prod environments
- Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines with automated testing
- Govern environment consistency and branching strategies
- Create secure data refresh processes and scripts
- Set up IIS/Node.js servers, NuGet/NPM repositories
- Support performance and volume testing
- Implement monitoring and diagnostics tooling
- Contribute to cloud configuration and best-practice adoption
- Maintain documentation and support security/audit activities
