Senior Infrastructure Engineer Remote – UK Up to £75,000 VIQU are partnering with a leading technology organisation seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to take ownership of its cloud, network and on-premises infrastructure. This hands-on role covers Azure, networking, security, identity, virtualisation and monitoring, while acting as a senior escalation point and leading infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities for Senior Infrastructure Engineer: Design, implement and maintain secure Azure infrastructure and networking Lead cloud migration and infrastructure modernisation projects Manage enterprise LAN, WAN, VPN, routing, DNS, DHCP and VLANs Administer Sophos and/or Barracuda firewalls, including VPN, NAT and security policies Manage Entra ID, including Conditional Access, MFA, RBAC and PIM Manage Intune and NinjaOne for endpoint security, patching and automation Support Microsoft 365, Mimecast and secure web gateway technologies Administer VMware vSphere and NSX environments Monitor infrastructure performance, investigate alerts and conduct root cause analysis Support vulnerability management, remediation and infrastructure hardening Maintain ISO 27001 controls and provide audit evidence Lead technical projects, documentation and mentoring across the team Key Experience Required for Senior Infrastructure Engineer: Senior infrastructure or network engineering experience, ideally within an MSP Strong hands-on Azure infrastructure and security experience Strong enterprise networking knowledge across LAN/WAN, VPN, routing, DNS, DHCP and VLANs Hands-on Sophos and/or Barracuda firewall experience Experience with Entra ID, Intune and NinjaOne Microsoft 365 and Mimecast experience, with strong email and web security knowledge VMware vSphere and NSX experience Experience with vulnerability management and infrastructure security ISO 27001 experience, including audits and evidence gathering Infrastructure monitoring experience, ideally LogicMonitor or PRTG Strong technical documentation, communication and stakeholder skills Ability to work independently, lead projects and act as a senior escalation point Apply now for Senior Infrastructure Engineerto speak with VIQU IT in confidence, or reach out to Fay Toomey via the VIQU IT website.
