Business Analyst

VIQU are partnering with a leading public sector organisation to recruit an experienced Business Analyst to support a range of digital transformation projects. This is a full lifecycle role, working across multiple initiatives to gather requirements, improve business processes, engage stakeholders, and help deliver successful digital change. It's an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team driving meaningful transformation across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities of the Business Analyst:
- Lead Business Analysis activities across multiple digital transformation projects
- Gather, analyse and document business and stakeholder requirements
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings across technical and business teams
- Translate technical concepts into clear business language
- Analyse and improve business processes and operating models
- Produce requirements, process maps, business cases and impact assessments
- Support projects throughout the full delivery lifecycle
- Work closely with project managers, technical teams and suppliers
- Identify and manage project risks, issues and dependencies
- Support and mentor junior Business Analysts where required
Key Experience Required of the Business Analyst:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within digital or IT change programmes
- Strong requirements gathering and documentation experience
- Experience analysing and improving business processes
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to facilitate workshops and manage competing priorities
- Experience delivering projects across the full lifecycle
- Knowledge of Business Analysis methodologies and best practice
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent documentation and organisational abilities
- Public sector or healthcare experience is beneficial but not essential
