6-Month Contract – Outside IR35 – Based in Middlesbrough

VIQU are currently seeking a Network Systems Administrator to join a large global organisation, supporting and maintaining a broad range of IT infrastructure and systems across the business. Working as part of the Infrastructure team, you will provide 3rd Line technical support, handling complex BAU queries while also contributing to ongoing infrastructure and migration projects.

Experience/Skillset Requirements:

  • Microsoft 365 / Office 365 / Intune / Exchange Online
  • Windows Server
  • Active Directory
  • Hyper-V or VMware – ideally HCI (Hyper-Converged Infrastructure)
  • Entra ID or Okta
  • Fortinet / FortiGate Firewalls
  • Wireless Technologies
  • Basic Networking – Routers / Switches
  • Storage, Disaster Recovery and Backup experience would be beneficial

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 3rd Line technical and infrastructure support, resolving complex incidents across infrastructure, networking and end-user computing environments.
  • Administer and support Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Intune, Okta and Identity Access Management (IAM) environments.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot networking infrastructure, including Fortinet and Cisco Meraki technologies.
  • Support infrastructure and migration projects, including server, platform and legacy on-premises file server migrations.
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams within an ITIL-based environment, supporting projects, documenting solutions and implementing technical changes.

The Network Systems Administrator must be able to commit to working onsite in Middlesbrough 3 days per week.
