VIQU have partnered with a forward-thinking organisation that is transforming how technology supports higher education, events, and large-scale operational environments. They are now looking for a Senior Engineer to join their team and play a key role in shaping modern, scalable software solutions.
The Role
As a Senior Engineer, you will be involved across the full development lifecycle, working on both new and existing systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions while helping modernise technology and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining scalable web applications using C#, Node.js, and React
- Developing secure backend services and integrations
- Contributing to architecture and technical decision-making
- Troubleshooting complex issues across frontend, backend, and database layers
- Participating in agile delivery (planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
- Mentoring junior engineers and promoting best practices
Requirements
- Strong experience with C#, Node.js, and React
- Solid understanding of software engineering best practices (clean code, testing, code reviews)
- Experience working with AWS or cloud-native environments
