Birmingham (hybrid 3 days onsite)
VIQU IT are currently seeking an experienced Data Engineer required to support a large-scale systems transformation programme. The role focuses on building and optimising data pipelines, supporting migration activities, and delivering reliable datasets for reporting and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop ETL/ELT data pipelines.
- Support data migration, transformation, and validation activities.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance.
- Collaborate with architects, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Support testing, UAT, and cutover activities.
- Produce technical documentation and handover materials.
- Proven experience in data engineering and large-scale data migration projects.
- Strong ETL/ELT and data integration expertise.
- Knowledge of data modelling, warehousing, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
- Understanding of data governance and quality frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Active SC Clearance + NPPV3 Clearance
