Azure Platform Engineer – 3-month contract – Fully remote My Client is looking for an experienced Azure Platform Engineer is required to support the design and build of a new Azure platform, with a strong focus on Azure VMware Solution (AVS) and hybrid infrastructure.
This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll be responsible for designing, building and deploying Azure infrastructure while working closely with architects to deliver a scalable, enterprise platform.
This Azure Platform Engineer role is fully remote.

Engineer: Strong hands-on experience designing and building Azure platforms.
Azure architecture and platform design experience.
Proven experience deploying Azure VMware Solution (AVS) would be beneficial Strong VMware infrastructure experience, including (ESXi, v Center, v SAN, NSX) Experience migrating or integrating VMware workloads into Azure.
Strong Azure networking, compute, storage and identity (Entra ID).
Power Shell and/or Azure CLI.
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates).
Experience producing technical documentation and following design standards.
