The roles are UK-wide due to national contract coverage, therefore candidates must be comfortable with regular travel. Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and testing of electrical power fence systems
  • Installation and integration of CCTV and access control systems
  • Fault diagnosis and repair of electrical security systems
  • Working on critical infrastructure sites including substations, power stations, telecoms sites, water facilities, and MOD environments
  • Liaising with clients, site teams, architects, and project managers
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely, professionally, and in line with specification
  • Supporting commissioning and system handover activities
  • Completion of site documentation, asset tagging, and reporting
  • Managing van stock and equipment requirements
  • Supporting wider engineering teams where required

Requirements:

  • Strong electrical installation and fault-finding experience
  • Background in security systems, power fencing, CCTV, or access control
  • Ability to use test equipment including digital multimeters
  • Comfortable working in high-security and regulated environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a field-based team
  • Good communication skills when working with clients and site stakeholders
  • Basic IT literacy for reporting and documentation

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience with Gallagher systems or similar platforms
  • Background in utilities, infrastructure, or critical security sectors
  • Experience supporting commissioning or training activities

These are UK-wide roles due to national contract requirements, with regular travel expected. Ideally, candidates will be centrally based for operational efficiency.
