About the Role A leading energy consultancy specialising in the Independent Schools sector is seeking an Account Manager to join its growing team and support a growing portfolio of schools across the UK.

The role is within the organisation that provides wrap-around services including invoice validation, query resolution, and support with energy projects.

The successful candidate will form part of the dedicated team, ensuring agreed SLAs are upheld and that queries are promptly actioned by energy suppliers, while liaising with client schools as required.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in the energy or utilities sector who enjoys working with clients, managing queries, and building strong relationships.

You will use CRM systems and internal software to proactively manage queries and ensure clients receive a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain relationships with a portfolio of school clients.

Act as a key point of contact for client queries and provide regular updates.

Liaise with energy suppliers to ensure queries are actioned promptly and agreed SLAs are maintained.

Proactively investigate and resolve client queries, escalating issues where required.

Record and manage case notes and queries using CRM and internal systems.

Build strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, managers, and colleagues.

Work confidently with data using Microsoft Excel.

Support the review of data and production of reports alongside the bureau team.

Support energy projects and procurement-related activity where required.

Maintain an awareness of energy legislation and third-party charges within energy contracts.

Support the preparation and review of energy budgets.

Attend client, supplier, and internal meetings using platforms such as Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet.

Attend occasional client meetings, supplier meetings, conferences, and other industry events.

About You You are a professional, personable, and meticulous individual with excellent client-facing skills and a strong work ethic.

You are confident managing queries, working with data, and communicating with a range of stakeholders.

Ideally, you will have previous experience within the energy or wider utilities industry and be comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Excel.

You are resourceful, proactive, and able to take the initiative while also working effectively as part of a wider team.
