2nd Line Support Engineer – Mobile Device Management

Location: Hatfield / Milton Keynes / Nottingham | Type: Full-time onsite | Salary: £30,000 – £35,000

We’re looking for a 2nd Line Support Engineer – Mobile Device Management (MDM) to join a leading IT services provider. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in software-based Mobile Device Management to support iOS and Android devices. Candidates must be eligible for Security Clearance (SC).

The RoleAs a 2nd Line MDM Analyst, you’ll provide Mobile Device Management support using cloud-based tools. Key responsibilities include:

  • 2nd line troubleshooting and incident resolution for MDM

  • Policy management changes and basic policy troubleshooting

  • Device enrolment, pushing policies, and OS configuration through MDM platforms

  • Device wipes and reloads, software updates, compliance checks, and mobile application deployment

You will primarily work with Apple Business Manager (essential), Android/Intune, and Workspace ONE environments. Experience with JAMF and Samsung KNOX is desirable. You’ll work closely with 3rd line analysts and technical teams to ensure smooth MDM delivery and maintain SLA compliance.

What You’ll Need

  • Proven experience in a 2nd line MDM / mobile endpoint support role

  • Hands-on experience with Apple Business Manager, Android devices, and Workspace ONE

  • Knowledge of Intune, including enrolling devices, pushing policies, and troubleshooting

  • Familiarity with JAMF and Samsung KNOX (advantageous)

  • Strong coordination, troubleshooting, and incident management skills
