We’re looking for a driven Business Development Manager to grow new and existing customer relationships, build a strong sales pipeline, and deliver best‑value solutions alongside internal teams. Our client is a leading infrastructure and energy services provider, delivering end‑to‑end solutions across the UK. They work with a wide range of commercial and industrial customers, supporting complex projects from initial design through to delivery and ongoing connections.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
- Identify and secure new business to achieve sales targets
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support successful delivery
- Use CRM tools to manage activity and report on sales performance
- Support tender preparation by gathering technical and scope information
- Represent the business at industry events and exhibitions
Essential:
- Proven experience in new business development and account management
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Previous experience as a Business Development Manager in a related industry (e.g. Utilities, Construction)
Desirable:
- Experience in the new connections market, worked for ICP/IDNO
- Knowledge of the I&C sector
