A leading organisation within the UK energy sector is seeking a Policy Lead to support the development and coordination of policy and guidance across a critical national infrastructure environment. This role focuses on working closely with technical experts across the electrical and operational safety space to translate complex technical issues into clear policy, guidance, and industry programmes. You will help shape standards, coordinate working groups, and engage with stakeholders across industry, government, and regulators to support improvements in operational practice and safety outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate policy initiatives and industry programmes related to operational and electrical safety.
  • Support policy committees and technical working groups, including providing secretariat support.
  • Work with subject matter experts to develop policy, guidance, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate consultation responses, briefings, and policy communications.
  • Manage documentation, reporting, and policy records.
