We're looking for a driven Business Development Manager to grow new and existing customer relationships, build a strong sales pipeline, and deliver best‐value solutions alongside internal teams. Our client is a leading infrastructure and energy services provider, delivering end‐to‐end solutions across the UK. They work with a wide range of commercial and industrial customers, supporting complex projects from initial design through to delivery and ongoing connections.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Identify and secure new business to achieve sales targets
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support successful delivery
  • Use CRM tools to manage activity and report on sales performance
  • Support tender preparation by gathering technical and scope information
  • Represent the business at industry events and exhibitions

Essential:

  • Proven experience in new business development and account management
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Previous experience as a Business Development Manager in a related industry (e.g. Utilities, Construction)

Desirable:

  • Experience in the new connections market, worked for ICP/IDNO
  • Knowledge of the I&C sector
