Location: Greater Manchester
I’m working with a well-established Independent Connections Provider (ICP) that delivers high-voltage and low-voltage connections for commercial, industrial, and EV infrastructure projects across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced ICP Electrical Designer to strengthen their design team.
Responsibilities
- Design adoptable networks (LV to HV 11kV/20kV)
- Carry out WinDebut calculations and produce AutoCAD drawings
- Specify substation equipment and assess earthing designs
- Prepare and submit designs to DNO/IDNO G81 standards
- Support EV scheme assessments and land rights processes
- Liaise with clients and hand over designs to construction teams
- Ensure compliance with regulations and project deadlines
Qualifications
- HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Background in ICP/IDNO/CPO design approvals
- Proficient in WinDebut and familiar with AutoCAD
- Strong communicator, team player, and able to manage deadlines
