An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the legal team of a major UK infrastructure organisation at a pivotal stage in its development. The business is delivering one of the country’s most significant and complex energy projects and this is your chance to be a part of it.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to support a critical delivery partnership within a large-scale engineering and construction programme. In this role, you will lead on all legal aspects relating to the establishment, governance, and ongoing operation of a multi-party alliance. You will ensure strong contractual, commercial, and regulatory compliance across a sophisticated and collaborative delivery model.
You will act as a trusted adviser to senior leadership, providing both strategic and day-to-day legal support. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams including Legal, Commercial, Project Controls, and Delivery, as well as external partners and senior stakeholders.
Ideally a background in construction, engineering, or infrastructure law (other sectors considered).
- Knowledge of construction and engineering contracts, as well as complex infrastructure/energy projects would be beneficial.
- Play a key role in delivering a nationally significant, low-carbon energy project.
