We are looking for an experienced Head of Sales to lead and grow a high-performing sales function within an exciting client of ours. This is a senior leadership role responsible for setting sales strategy, driving revenue growth, and managing a team of 5-6 sales professionals. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to develop market positioning, expand client relationships, and deliver commercial performance across a rapidly evolving energy landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and develop a sales team of 5-6, setting clear targets and performance expectations.
  • Define and deliver the sales strategy across energy management, energy procurement, and wider renewable energy services.
  • Drive new business acquisition while strengthening existing client relationships.
  • Oversee the full sales lifecycle from opportunity identification through to contract close.
  • Work closely with marketing, operations, and delivery teams to ensure propositions meet client needs.
  • Provide accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting.
  • Represent the business at client meetings, industry events, and conferences.
  • Travel regularly to meet clients and support the sales team nationwide.
