A leading organisation within the UK multi-utility and infrastructure sector is seeking an Electrician to support the delivery of electrical activities across utility and infrastructure projects nationwide. This role will focus on supporting substation and electrical works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with industry standards and operational requirements.
Working closely with Senior Authorised Persons (SAPs) and wider operational teams, you will help maintain technical quality, support project delivery, and contribute to the successful completion of electrical infrastructure works across the UK. You will play a key role in supporting operational capability, maintaining high standards of workmanship, and ensuring electrical activities are completed safely and compliantly within a growing and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Authorised Persons (SAPs) with substation and commercial/industrial electrical activities.
- Carry out electrical works in accordance with industry regulations, technical standards, and health and safety requirements.
- Support the delivery of electrical infrastructure projects across multiple locations throughout the UK.
- Travel as required to support operational and project delivery requirements.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, professionalism, and technical quality.
- Work collaboratively with operational teams to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Support the completion of project documentation and site records where required.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with company procedures and industry standards.
- Contribute to the successful delivery of electrical and substation-related activities.
- Promote safe working practices and actively support a positive health and safety culture.
About You
You are an enthusiastic and experienced Electrician with a background in industrial and/or commercial electrical environments and are confident working within operational project settings. You enjoy working collaboratively with technical and operational teams, helping to deliver projects safely and efficiently whilst maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism. You are reliable, proactive, and comfortable travelling nationwide to support project requirements.
