A leading organisation within the UK multi-utility and infrastructure sector is seeking a Site Supervisor to support the successful delivery of utility connection projects across residential, commercial, and industrial developments. This role will focus on overseeing on-site activities, supervising operational teams, and co-ordinating resources to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with programme, quality, and technical expectations. Working closely with project teams, clients, subcontractors, and senior stakeholders, you will help ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards within a fast-paced and evolving environment.
You will play a key role in maintaining productivity on site, supporting strong client relationships, and ensuring all operational activities are aligned with industry regulations, business objectives, and health and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise on-site operational delivery across multiple utility and infrastructure projects.
- Monitor project programmes, ensuring works are completed in line with client expectations and agreed timescales.
- Co-ordinate site teams, subcontractors, and third-party providers to support project delivery.
- Monitor site progress and communicate updates effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Review project documentation including design packs, work schedules, and scheme requirements.
- Attend handover meetings, pre-start meetings, and client progress discussions.
- Ensure construction and compliance documentation is completed accurately and submitted in line with industry standards.
- Co-ordinate materials, plant, and labour requirements to support project delivery.
- Support project performance reviews and contribute to operational improvements across the business.
- Assist with monitoring project performance against programme and delivery targets.
- Ensure full compliance with legislative, industry, and company health and safety standards.
- Support, mentor, and provide guidance to operational teams to ensure high-quality project delivery.
You are an experienced Site Supervisor with a background within utilities, infrastructure, construction, or related industries, and are confident overseeing on-site operations within fast-moving project environments. You enjoy working collaboratively with operational and commercial teams, helping to co-ordinate site activities and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. You are organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities whilst maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Essential Experience & Qualifications- Experience supervising utility, infrastructure, or construction-related projects.
- Strong understanding of on-site operational delivery and workforce co-ordination.
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation and industry compliance requirements.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Strong stakeholder management and client communication experience.
- Experience co-ordinating subcontractors, labour, and site resources.
- Ability to communicate operational or technical information clearly to a range of stakeholders.
- Experience within multi-utilities, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
- Understanding of utility connections, asset adopters, or ICP environments.
- Relevant supervisory qualifications such as SSSTS or SMSTS.
- Background within utilities, civil engineering, or infrastructure project delivery.
