HV Technician

HV Technician – Midlands About the Role: We are currently seeking a HV Technician, you will be responsible for wiring, installing, and testing HV systems across various industrial and utility projects. Key Responsibilities: Install and terminate HV cables and control wiring on 33kV+ systems. Read and interpret electrical schematics and layout drawings. Work with switchgear, transformers, and protection panels. Carry out testing and commissioning alongside engineering teams. Maintain compliance with HSE standards and electrical safety regulations. Complete job documentation and site reports. Requirements: Experience working on high voltage networks. Recognised electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, C&G 2365/2357). Experience in substations and HV environments. Strong knowledge of control, protection, and HV equipment. Full UK driving licence.
