We are looking for a senior sales professional for a client of ours within the energy industry to take on a role as their Head of Sales who will be responsible for expanding the business' commercial client base, identifying opportunities for new business and closing deals to drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Acquire mid-market and commercial accounts, covering both electricity and gas customers.
  • Create and enable innovative ways to generate leads, discover potential clients and opportunities before converting to sales.
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and pre-sales support.
  • Build initial relationships with new customers/prospects.
  • Help to plan sales campaigns.

Experience:

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a confident approach to sales.
  • Experience in negotiating and selling products and contracts.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a creative approach to selling and developing new business.
  • Energy industry experience would be advantageous but isn't necessary to be successful in the role.

Location: Remote - occasional travel to sites

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £70,000 - £85,000 + Bonus
