We’re looking for a proactive Billing Analyst to join our Birmingham-based client on a permanent, hybrid basis (2 office days per week). This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing energy business, delivering accurate and efficient billing.

About the Role

As part of the Operations team, you’ll be responsible for producing and managing billing for both Half-Hourly (HH) and Non-Half-Hourly (NHH) customers. You’ll work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to resolve queries, drive performance improvements, and ensure compliance with Ofgem regulations. You’ll take ownership of the customer portfolio and support both internal operations and customer-facing activities.

What you will be doing in the role:

  • Accurate production of billing across various contract types.
  • Resolution of billing queries and escalations.
  • Analyse billing data to identify insights and improve processes.
  • Support with customer/TPI meetings and internal billing reviews.
  • Monitor and manage unbilled accounts and settlement exceptions.
  • Drive continuous improvement across billing operations.

Experience you’ll need to have:

  • Billing experience from within the energy industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
  • Understanding of Ofgem billing regulations.
  • Confident communicator with excellent problem-solving skills.
