Vipond Fire Protection, part of Chubb Fire & Security, now has an opportunity for a Sprinkler Design Engineer for a remote opportunity. Following recent business wins, we are keen to add to our Engineering team to manage fire protection systems locally to Bruntwood. This role can be office based, hybrid or remote depending on circumstances.

Goals and Objectives:
- To ensure the system designs are produced in high quality, in compliance with the relevant standard and within the necessary timescales.
- To develop, and maintain professional relationships with clients, partners, and subcontractors.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of sprinkler system designs for a variety of applications (Large works, small works, LPC Rules, NFPA, FM)
- Design responsibility throughout the project life.
- Production of technical documentation, installation drawings and coordination models.
- Production of hydraulic calculations.
- On-site surveying where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with the relevant design standards and project specifications.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of LPCB Basic design qualification.
- LPCB Intermediate and FHC design qualifications would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of LPC sprinkler rules is essential. Knowledge of FM & NFPA standards would be an advantage.
- A degree or HND in a relatable discipline would be an advantage.
