We are looking for a skilled and reliable TIG Welder / Fabricator to join our team in Redditch. This is a full-time, hands-on role suited to someone with strong experience in TIG welding stainless steel, MIG welding, and general fabrication work.
The successful candidate will be able to read drawings, work accurately to specifications, and produce high-quality welds in a workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities- TIG welding primarily on stainless steel
- MIG welding on various materials as required
- Fabrication of components and assemblies from drawings
- Cutting, grinding, drilling, and forming materials
- Ensuring welds meet quality and visual standards
- Working to tight tolerances and deadlines
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Carrying out basic equipment checks and maintenance
- Following health & safety procedures at all times
- Proven experience in TIG welding stainless steel
- Competent in MIG welding
- Strong background in fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Experience with other materials (mild steel, aluminium)
- Workshop or manufacturing environment experience
- Welding certifications (advantageous but not required)
