Role Overview:
We are looking for a Working supervisor to work with a gang on a civils project. The works will be working on a Thames Water project, focusing on the civils aspects including form/steel works, setting out, concrete, drainage etc. We are looking for a gang that is experienced in these sorts of works and can read/understand drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a civils gang working on Thames Water works
- Assist with groundworks, drainage and general civils on the project
- Formwork/Steelwork, setting out etc on site
- Able to understand and read drawings
- Ensure compliance with health and safety on site
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Civils background - preferably working on a Thames Water site before
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- Temporary works supervisor would be beneficial but not essential
- Excavator and dumper ticket within the gang
- Thames Water passports
- Confined Space training within gang would be desirable
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow instructions
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Desirable:
- First Aid certification
- Utility mapping experience
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours
