We are looking for Host/Hostesses to join our front of house team at a new restaurant in Portsmouth. The role will be starting on the 29th of January and will be an ongoing contract with 16 hour minimum contracts per week. Shift times vary.

Must-Have Qualities:

  • A genuine hospitality mindset β€” you enjoy making people feel welcome and taken care of.
  • Strong sense of ownership β€” you take responsibility for the complete guest experience.
  • Ability to communicate confidently and clearly with guests, teammates and management.
  • Ability to follow simple systems and execute them consistently.
  • Positive, guest first attitude during both calm and busy services.
  • Reliability β€” show up on time, prepared, and ready to contribute, good history of workplace attendance.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous FOH or customer-facing experience preferably in a restaurant, but not essential.
  • Comfortable standing for long periods and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multitask while staying calm, professional, productive and friendly.
  • Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and improve.
  • Basic maths and cash/POS handling skills (training provided).
