We are seeking an experienced and reliable Skilled Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction or manual work, with the ability to confidently use a wide range of hand tools and assist with various site tasks. This role requires practical skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out general labouring duties on site
  • Safely and efficiently use a variety of hand tools and basic power tools
  • Assist tradespeople with tasks such as measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
  • Prepare and maintain work areas, including cleaning and organising tools and materials
  • Load and unload materials and equipment as required
  • Follow health and safety regulations at all times
  • Complete tasks to a high standard within set deadlines

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a skilled labourer or in a similar role
  • Confident using hand tools (e.g. hammers, saws, drills, levels, etc.)
  • Good practical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently
  • Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • CSCS card (preferred/required depending on role)

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in construction, carpentry, or a trade
  • Basic knowledge of building processes and materials
  • Ability to read basic plans or drawings
  • Experience using power tools
