We are seeking a skilled Site Installation Electrician to join our team and support the successful installation of electrical systems on-site. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, with experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical components in various industrial or commercial environments. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects, ensuring safety and quality standards are met throughout the installation process.

This role is site based and will require working away from home on a regular basis. All travel, lodgings and away allowance are provided in addition to the base salary. A company van is provided for this role with personal use if required.

Duties
  • Install, connect, test, and commission electrical systems and equipment according to project specifications.
  • Use hand tools and power tools to assemble, wire, and secure electrical components.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate installation.
  • Conduct inspections of installed systems to verify proper operation and compliance with safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues during installation and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the team of project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure timely completion of installations.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.
Experience
  • Proven experience as an electrician specialising in site installation work within industrial or commercial settings.
  • Water industry experience is desirable.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, as well as power tools like drills and saws.
  • Strong electrical experience with knowledge of wiring methods, circuit protection, and safety standards.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation are preferred but not essential for highly experienced candidates.

This role requires a dedicated professional with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety standards. Candidates should possess practical electrical experience complemented by the ability to work independently or as part of a team in demanding environments.

Pay: £42,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
